Grenada, UAE Sign Visa-Free Travel Memorandum

The United Arab Emirates recently became the latest in a long list of countries offering Grenadian citizens visa-free access, after a Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries was signed by Her Excellency Ms Keshia A. McGuire, Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations for Grenada, and Her Excellency Ms Lana Nusseibeh, her counterpart for the United Arab Emirates.

At the signing ceremony, the two ambassadors discussed cooperation between the two nations, and how this can be enhanced through the Memorandum, and Her Excellency McGuire placed particular emphasis on the value of visa-free access to the UAE – a market leader on the international stage – to the Grenada Citizenship by Investment programme.

The UAE joins an extensive list of 125 countries and territories that offer citizens of Grenada visa-free access at their borders, including the UK, and other members of the EU, and key Asian markets such as China, Hong Kong and Singapore. Grenada is also a treaty nation for the purposes of the US E-2 Visa, meaning that Grenadian citizens are among a small group of individuals that can partake in its prestigious investor visa programme.
